Data Integration Analyst (SQL/ETL) | f/m/d

What you will do

We are looking for a professional who combines strong technical skills with excellent communication abilities to support our clients in data integration and processing projects. In this role you will be thriving in collaborative environments where you engage with stakeholders while delivering data-driven solutions using SQL and ETL methodologies.  

How you will get the job done

• collaborating with external clients and internal business and technology teams to gather requirements and define project scope
• designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes and advanced SQL queries within the insurance domain
• mapping insurance data to a unified data model and implementing it in our data warehouse
• supporting business users and data scientists with data access and interpreting results
• participating in the creation and implementation of best practices and innovative data management solutions

Requirements

• fluency in English
• a university degree in Computer Science or a related field
• at least 4 years of experience in a similar position
• strong knowledge of SQL/T-SQL and hands-on experience optimizing queries and ETL processes
• practical experience with data modelling and working with large datasets
• experience in direct client collaboration and the ability to clearly communicate technical and business information

Nice to have

• German language proficiency
• experience with data processing platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory)
• experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies
• knowledge of Power BI
• familiarity with Python
