Data Engineer (Azure / MS SQL / ETL) - hybrid in Kraków

We work with clients all over the world.For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Data Engineer (Azure / MS SQL / ETL). Your duties will include: Design and build data pipelines using Azure Data FactoryModernize and migrate ETL/ELT processes (including SSIS) and legacy solutions to the cloudBuild and maintain batch and near-real-time data workflowsDesign and develop Data Warehouse / Data Lake architectures (dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas)Optimize and tune MS SQL Server / Azure SQL environmentsIntegrate data from multiple sources (APIs, files, secure platforms)Collaborate closely with backend teams (.NET / API)Contribute to solution architecture and documentation (SDD)Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with security standardsSupport the analytics layer (Power BI) Requirements that must be met:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar roleStrong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server / Azure SQLExperience designing and building ETL/ELT processes using:- Azure Data Factory- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimization, performance tuning)Practical experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake / ADLS Gen2Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schema)Experience building batch / near-real-time data pipelinesExperience integrating data from multiple sources (APIs, files, secure platforms)Familiarity with Power BI (data models, refresh strategies, performance)Very good English and PolishWillingness to work in a hybrid systemWhat we offer:We are open and honest and we solve problems instead of generating them.Maybe it’s obvious, but we really respect our employees and associates.
