We’re building a digital platform, serving thousands of customers and generating a turnover of over one billion euros per year.   Who is your team? You will be the part of Data Office which is an international cross-functional team, combining: Data Modernization; Data Foundation. As a Data Foundation team, we are driving data innovations from the core making data work securely, scalable, and smartly. Our mission? To build and maintain the foundation that powers Kramp’s data-driven future. That means enabling modern, secure, and scalable data infrastructure that ingests raw data and transforms it into golden assets across the organization. We’re not just supporting the business - we’re leading transformation. If you’re excited about real impact, modern tech, and being part of something big - we’re just getting started. The team is building the foundation of Kramp's self-service analytics platform in Google Cloud Platform-based data warehouse (DWH). Feeding different targets as: Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau); Data-driven e-commerce applications;  Kramp's Machine Learning platform.   What to expect:  The Data Office is international, and cross-functional team, combining Business Intelligence, DevOps, FinOps, Data Science, and Software Development; Working within Agile SCRUM Methodologies and the Atlassian toolchain (JIRA, Confluence,GitHub, Git); To build our state-of-the-art cloud data warehouse, we use Python, Java, BigQuery SQL, other Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Build, Data transfers, Workflows, Schedulers and Functions; Making use of dbt cloud, Terraform and Data Modelling Tools; You will get deep insights into the work at an international wholesaler being in the middle of the digital transformation, you can contribute and make a real impact; Freedom to initiate new ideas and develop these further.    What will help you be successful in this role? Openness to engage in continuous learning and agility in addressing business challenges; Experience in designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining software written in Python and/or Java as well as dataflows written in SQL; Knowledge of different Data Modelling principles and selecting the right one depending on the needs of a consumer; Feeling comfortable working with Linux, git, and Docker to extend and maintain our CI/CD workflows and pipelines or are you eager to dive into this topic; Experience in working in cloud environments (preferably GCP or AWS); Experience or knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code applications like Terraform and data transformation tools as dbt and Dataform; Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and adaptability in building connections with people from diverse backgrounds; Excel conceptual thinking and a proactive approach to decision-making, taking ownership to ensure project success. Experience with Striim is an advantage.   What do we offer?  We are an ambitious, fast-growing and financially sound organization.
