Eaton is seeking a Data Centre Electrical Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and a proven track record of solving complex technical challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative electrical solutions.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Provide technical engineering leadership and expertise in the design and development of LV, MV, UPS, energy storage and other applicable data centre electrical systems and solutions.
• And Conduct detailed technical engineering analyses and provide recommendations for improving electrical systems and processes.
• Focussed on early Eaton system approvals by vendors (AVL) for programmatic buys.
• Adhoc supports on technical engineering system design support for customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design & Bid, engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure the successful implementation of electrical projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in electrical design.
• Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical design and implementation.
• Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements and building codes.
• Defining project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases.
• Drive innovation and push boundaries in Eaton’s Data Centres design offering by staying up-to-date with the latest research, industry trends and technologies.
• This an external facing role and the candidate will be representing Eaton as an Industry solutions expert. The person needs to develop trusted and influential relationships with Clients, Consultants, Partners and Industry peers.
• Contribute & Support marketing campaigns & activities that can promote Eaton to Client relations and business.
• Ability to work on concurrent projects.
• Support for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed.

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronics engineering
• +3 years' experience in application engineering in data center systems engineering

Skills:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a strong technical advisory approach.
• Familiarity and experience working to NPFA 70 & UL design standards is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
