The organization operates more than one hundred applications and is embarking on a major initiative to modernize and upgrade its systems.Position overviewOur client is seeking a Data Architect to define and design the target-state data architecture supporting analytics, AI enablement, data product development, and lifecycle management. This role ensures that data systems are scalable, well-governed, secure, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.ResponsibilitiesDefine enterprise data architecture for ingestion, modeling, integration, metadata, lineage, and data productsPartner with product and IT teams to design data pipelines, canonical data models, and reusable data productsGuide design choices in support of modernization programs, including data retention and lifecycle standardsDevelop architectural patterns for data quality controls, monitoring, and lifecycle managementSupport ingestion and modeling of critical enterprise datasets across customer, product, operations, finance, and marketing domainsEnsure architecture supports AI infrastructure, security requirements, and compliance obligationsRequirements7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture rolesExpertise in cloud data platforms, modern data stacks, and event- or API-driven integrationsExperience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworksStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior technical and business stakeholdersApply for the job
