Your role as Operational Buyer

In this role, you will manage purchasing activities for selected product categories and develop a reliable supplier base. You will support seamless material flow, cost‑efficient procurement, and supplier performance to help deliver world‑class products.

Your main responsibilities

• Analyse parts needed for boat production
• Prepare requests for proposals to key suppliers
• Monitor supplier payments and purchasing processes
• Optimise warehouse stock levels
• Conduct supplier selection and evaluation
• Monitor and develop supplier performance
• Support initiatives to reduce inventory and purchasing costs
• Develop and improve purchasing processes
• Build and maintain the supplier base, ensuring supply continuity

What we are looking for

• Excellent organisational skills and independence in daily work
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Strong communication skills, internal and external
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Ability to understand supply contracts and technical documentation
• Strong negotiation skills
• Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in a technical environment
• Experience in an international company is an advantage
• University degree, preferably in supply chain or business will be an advantage
