BHP / EHS Coordinator

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for:BHP / EHS CoordinatorResponsibilities:Ensure compliance with all applicable Polish BHP regulations (Kodeks Pracy, Rozporządzenia BHP) and corporate EHS policiesServe as the primary contact for Polish authorities (e.g., Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy, Sanepid, Fire Brigade) during inspections and auditsConduct and maintain risk assessments (RA/JSA), workplace inspections, and ensure timely closure of corrective actionsLead/support incident and near-miss investigations, perform root cause analysis, issue corrective/preventive actions, and communicate lessons learnedDevelop, deliver, and track mandatory EHS training (onboarding, periodic health and safety training, toolbox talks) ensuring full complianceCoordinate emergency preparedness and response (emergency response plan, first aiders, fire protection, evacuation drills)Maintain EHS records, KPIs, and reports, including incidents, training status, inspections, and compliance statisticsSupport environmental programs: basic compliance checks on waste, water, air; support corporate sustainability reportingLead or support internal audits and prepare sites for external or corporate auditsDrive safety culture and employee engagement through campaigns, coaching, communication of alerts and lessons learnedBeing a point of contact for central functions, localizing and driving global activities, participating in global projectsHelp with other tasks designated and managed by the company management within the framework of the goals of the company Requirements:Minimum few years of experience in a similar HSE/BHP role, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or construction environmentHigher education in the following fields: 'Occupational health and safety', 'safety engineering', 'safety management'' compliant with Polish regulations (Rozporządzenie Rady Ministrów z dnia 2 listopada 2004 r. w sprawie służby bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy)In-depth knowledge of Polish labor code and occupational safety regulationsEnglish and Polish languages fluency requiredStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to prepare detailed reports and documentationGood communication skills: ability to train and engage employees at all levelsIndependent, proactive working styleProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with risk assessments, inspections, and training deliveryNice to have:Additional methodological courses on conducting classes or additional certification as a Health and Safety Specialist (Specjalista ds.
