Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
- Implement and optimize solutions using Microsoft Fabric to support data integration and analytics.
- Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes, and other data processing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for Azure data engineering.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through evaluation of new technologies and tools.
Our requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure services.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and related data integration technologies.
- Advanced Python and SQL programming skills.
- Proficiency with PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; German language skills are an asset.
- Proven ability to work effectively in remote and distributed team environments.
- Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience in data engineering, computer science, or related fields.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data management and architecture.
