Assembler Developer

Key Responsibilities:Design, write, test, and optimize Assembler code for mainframe systems.Maintain and enhance legacy Assembler applications to meet business needs.Collaborate with teams to integrate Assembler components with COBOL/Java applications.Optimize system performance using tools like IBM RMF and OMEGAMON.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues using advanced debugging tools.Mentor junior developers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.Contribute to system modernization strategies and decisions.RequirementsExpertise in Assembler (HLASM) programming and mainframe systems (IBM z/OS, MVS, CICS, DB2)Experience with performance tools (IBM Debug Tool, Abend-AID, OMEGAMON)Strong knowledge of memory management and system programmingExperience integrating Assembler with COBOL, PL/I, or JavaAbility to troubleshoot and resolve production issues7+ years of experience in Assembler development, with at least 5 years in mainframe systemsIBM Certified System Programmer and z/OS Mastery Certifications are a plusVery good command of EnglishWhat can we offerFlexible forms of employment and working hours (CoE or B2B)An interesting, challenging job in the dynamically developing Capital Group companyWork on innovative projects using modern technologiesDirect impact on shaping the image of the Capital Group’s companies on the marketPossibility to develop competences in a wide rangeAttractive salaryStability of employment and a friendly work atmosphere
