3D Artist

Intro

Stratosphere Games is an AAA mobile game developer based in Berlin, Germany, looking for a
General 3D Artist to support the development of existing and upcoming projects.

Your mission

As a 3D Artist, you work closely together with the Concept Artist to create models and textures.
Your job will be to realize the concepts of the Concept Artists in 3D, texturize them and implement them in the game. You also iterate your models based on feedback from the Lead Artist and make sure they are within the requirements for the game in terms of polycount and style.

• Do all the pipeline steps for 3D asset creation (model, texture, baking, implementation)
• Iterate your models and textures based on feedback
• Create models in time and quality
• Realize the ideas of the concept artists

Your profile

• 3 years of work experience as a 3D Artist, mobile games, or AAA experience is a plus
• Experience with the following tools:
• Blender
• 3DS Max
• Photoshop
• Substance Painter
• Unity
• Nice to have:
• Substance Designer
• Experience with rigging/animation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Experience in working with task tracking tools
• Ability to iterate on your work based on feedback
• Ability to create appealing low-poly models
• High- to Low-poly workflow
