We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer who will join a project for a leading healthcare organization.
What You Will Do:
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end UI and API test automation using Playwright and TypeScript (including fixtures, projects, resilient locators, page objects, parallel execution, and trace debugging)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins), including matrices, parallel runs, artifacts (traces, videos, screenshots), and test result reportingOwn version control workflows in Git/GitHub: branching strategy, pull requests, code reviews, protecting main branches, and enforcing automation quality standards
Collaborate closely with Product, Developers, and DevOps to review requirements, define test strategies, and ensure testability of user stories and technical designs
Perform code reviews for test automation, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices, coding guidelines, and maintainability.
Requirements:5+ years in test automation and building frameworks for web applications.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Playwright Test runner, fixtures, projects, storage state, network mocking, cross‑browser runs, trace viewer).
Strong TypeScript / JavaScript skills, including async/await, promises, modules, interfaces, and clean, maintainable test code design.
Proven experience designing and implementing Page Object Model or similar patterns for UI automation.
Experience with API test automation (REST/GraphQL) using Playwright API
Request or dedicated tools (Postman, REST-assured, etc.).
Practical experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), including test stages, parallel execution, and artifact publishing.
Strong experience with Git and GitHub for collaboration: branching, pull requests, code reviews, tags, and release branches.
Demonstrated ability to lead QA initiatives or a small team: setting priorities, coordinating testing activities, and representing QA in cross‑functional discussions.
Experience mentoring junior or mid-level QA engineers in test design, automation patterns, and debugging techniques.
Proven track record of driving automation strategy (what to automate, where to place tests in the pyramid, when to refactor or decommission flaky suites).
