Software Engineer (Java/DevOps)

Our still-growing Department is composed of well balanced agile teams with a full range of software development experience and the embedded mindset of DevOps culture and continuous delivery approach. Teams are responsible for end-to-end software development including: design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance in a 24/7 support model.

Joining the Emergency Call Handling team in Krakow, you will contribute to extending capabilities of our mission critical, highly available(99.999%) platform and enhancing the existing technologies we use. We’re looking for a Java Developer with DevOps background who is interested in building cloud-based solutions with a unique opportunity to build 99.999% available systems - yes, this is correct, what the team is building has a window of not being available for about 5 minutes a year.

• Basic Requirements
• Practical experience 1+ years with modern DevOps tooling (including CI/CD pipelines)1+ year experience with Java
• Practical knowledge about microservices and REST API
• English language skills allowing for efficient communication with our peers and customers in North America
• Must have:

Kubernetes

• Docker
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure or private Cloud
• Practical knowledge of Ansible, Cloud formation or similar
• Java
• Automated testing experience
• Observability and monitoring experience
• Understanding of the following protocols
• HTTP / REST
• Could have:

Experience inRabbitMQ/AMQ, Kafka or similar

• GStreamer Networking knowledge
