About the roleWe're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an exciting project focused on transforming traditional reporting into AI-powered web applications.

You'll help redesign existing Power BI reports into custom-built reporting solutions that integrate data from multiple sources, refresh automatically, and provide users with intelligent, interactive insights powered by AI.

What you'll doDesign and develop custom web-based reporting applications.

Recreate and enhance existing Power BI reports using modern development technologies.

Build integrations with multiple data sources and APIs.

Develop AI-powered reporting features using Large Language Models (LLMs) and related technologies.

Create automated data refresh and reporting workflows.

Design interactive filtering, drill-down, and visualization capabilities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Contribute to architectural decisions and best engineering practices.

What we're looking for5+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong experience with modern backend development (Python, C#, or similar).

Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or working with Generative AI technologies.

Experience integrating data from multiple sources.

Strong SQL and database knowledge.

Experience building reporting, dashboarding, or business intelligence solutions (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Grafana, or similar). We value experience in designing and developing reporting solutions over expertise with any specific reporting tool.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

Experience with Power BI.

Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.

Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI frameworks.

Front-end experience (React, Angular, Vue).

Experience with data visualization libraries.

Knowledge of ETL or data engineering concepts.
