We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Policy-as Code (OPA) to design, implement, and manage policy-driven governance across cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA), CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices to build scalable, secure, and automated policy enforcement solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Policy-as-Code solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.

Integrate policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and compliant software delivery.

Develop reusable policy frameworks for infrastructure, Kubernetes, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement governance and compliance controls.

Automate policy validation, testing, and deployment across multiple environments.

Troubleshoot policy-related issues and optimize policy performance.

Contribute to software design, code reviews, testing, and documentation following engineering best practices.

Stay current with emerging trends in cloud security, Policy-as-Code, and DevSecOps.

Job requirements:5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.

Experience implementing Policy-as-Code frameworks in enterprise environments.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Experience with Git-based version control and automation.

Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containers, and Kubernetes.

Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Go, Python, or Java.

Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kubernetes admission controllers and policy enforcement.

Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
