Contract type: B2BCapacity: Full-timeRate: 140–170 PLN + VAT / h🚀 About the projectWe are looking for an experienced Senior Python Engineer / Tech Lead to join a project for a US-based healthcare technology company.

The project involves the ongoing development and modernization of a mature, multi-tenant SaaS platform used by healthcare facilities. The system includes a web application, mobile applications, and integrations with hospital systems.

You will join the team during the transition of development responsibilities and work closely with the client's product and engineering stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with strong Python and Django expertise, experience working with complex production systems, and the ability to independently deliver solutions, make technical decisions, and communicate directly with the client.

Our teams have real influence on technical and architectural decisions.🧠 Your responsibilitiesdevelop, maintain, and improve a complex SaaS platform using Python, Django, and Django REST Frameworkfocus primarily on backend development, with occasional support for frontend tasks when neededparticipate in knowledge transfer and help establish effective development practicescontribute to technical decisions and improvements within the existing architectureprovide technical guidance and support engineering decisions within the teamcollaborate directly with US-based product and engineering stakeholdersanalyze requirements, provide estimates, and support release planningmaintain and improve existing code while delivering new featuresdesign and develop REST APIs and integrations with external systemsoptimize database queries, application performance, and background processingensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and documentationcoordinate with mobile developers on backend changes and API integrationsproactively identify technical risks and propose improvements🧩 Must havesminimum 10 years of commercial experience in software developmentstrong commercial experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF)experience developing and maintaining large, production-grade applicationsstrong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing, and database migrationsexperience designing and developing REST AP

• Isexperience with Redis or similar caching technologiesexperience with Celery or other background task processing solutionsexperience with automated testing using pytest or similar frameworkspractical experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelinesability to work effectively with complex legacy codebases, including refactoring and modernizationstrong understanding of software architecture, maintainability, and performance optimizationability to independently analyze requirements, propose solutions, and deliver featuresability to contribute to technical decisions and provide guidance to other engineerswillingness to work on frontend tasks using Angular when neededexcellent communication skills and experience working directly with international clients
• English at C1 level or higheravailability for afternoon meetings (CET/CEST) with the US-based team✨ Nice to havehands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJScommercial experience in frontend developmentexperience leading or coordinating a small development teamexperience working on healthcare platforms or regulated systems, including HIPAA-related requirementsknowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare system integration standardsexperience with multi-tenant SaaS architecturesexperience with AW
• Sknowledge of Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, or SSO integrationsexperience with AngularJS (1.x) and migration to modern Angularfamiliarity with iOS or Android developmentexperience with Django Channels or real-time application features🛠️ Tech stack
