Your responsibilities

  • designing and developing backend solutions mainly in PHP, with some services in Node.js.
  • take ownership of system architecture quality, code reviews, and mentoring less experienced developers.
  • work closely with our Staff Engineer on technical decision-making and team standards.
  • design and develop APIs (REST/GraphQL), ensuring performance and scalability.
  • contribute to R&D initiatives and introduce new technologies where relevant.

Our requirements

  • very strong PHP expertise (5+ years in commercial projects).
  • experience with frameworks (Symfony, Laravel).
  • good knowledge of Node.js (microservices, integrations, npm/yarn, Express/Koa).
  • proven experience as Senior/Tech Lead – leading reviews, making architectural decisions, guiding the team.
  • solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • practical experience with CI/CD, Docker, Linux.
  • fluent English (written & spoken).

Optional

  • experience scaling large applications and distributed systems.
  • TypeScript, GraphQL.
  • cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
