Role Overview

For our Client we are looking for a qualified partner for fpr Senior Linux Engineer to join a long-term infrastructure engineering project. You will work on traditional, on-premise infrastructure, designing, building, automating, and maintaining Linux environments across bare-metal servers and virtual machines. The role combines hands-on engineering, infrastructure automation, security, networking, monitoring, and CI/CD.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain Linux infrastructure
• Work with RHEL, bare-metal servers, and virtual machines
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible, Bash, and Python
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins
• Implement monitoring, security, and Linux hardening
• Troubleshoot complex production and infrastructure issues
• Improve infrastructure reliability, security, and automation
• Make technical decisions and work independently in complex enterprise environments
• Required Skills5+ years of professional Linux experience
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/Linux administration
• Advanced Ansible skills
• Strong Bash and good Python skills
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal servers and virtualization
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.

Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins

• Experience with Linux security and hardening
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production environments
• Strong engineering mindset and ability to work independently
• Experience in enterprise or mission-critical environments
