emagine is looking for: Senior Kafka Platform EngineerOur client in the retail sector is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to own and develop their Kafka platform on Kubernetes (you build it, you run it) and act as Kafka expert for the development teams.

Location: Stockholm (hybrid)

Responsibilities

Operate, upgrade, and scale multi-cluster Kafka environments (Strimzi on AKS), including HA/DR
Kafka security (ACLs, mTLS, SASL, OAuth), Connectors, and Schema Registry
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and Tier 3 support
Advise Java/Spring Boot teams on client configuration
Administer HiveMQ MQTT brokersRequirements4+ years of platform-level Kafka experience (Strimzi, Kafka Connect, KRaft)
