Department Overview

The Infrastructure System Test Tools team (ISTT) within Motorola Solutions is responsible for development of simulators of public safety communication system components. The simulators are used by product teams to execute functional and performance system level tests and tests automation.

Job DescriptionIn software engineer role you will be responsible for End To End software lifecycle process, including:design, develop, test and maintain software within ISTT portfoliocooperation with external teams to integrate our solutions with test environmentsproviding support to external teams using our solutionsas a role expansion: requirements analysis, scope definition

Basic Requirementstechnology: Java as a core technology, but also HTML / CSS / Angularknowledge of designing realtime multithreaded and distributed systemsknowledge of IP networks (devices, protocols)written and verbal communication in English

Nice to haveexperience in working with AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot)

Docker / Kubernetes (configuration, deployment) knowledgecloud environments knowledge (Azure, AWS)

Jenkins

GITexperience in working with SCRUM practices
