Senior IT Project Manager – Core Technology (f/m)

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager who will be responsible for managing complex technology projects throughout their entire lifecycle - from planning and execution to successful closure. This role requires strong project governance, risk management, budgeting and stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities

Manage technology projects end-to-end, from planning through execution to closure.

Develop and oversee project schedules, delivery plans and dependencies.

Manage project budgets, resources and priorities.

Identify, monitor and proactively escalate project risks.

Coordinate cooperation between business and technology stakeholders.

Facilitate governance activities and approval processes.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards and regulatory requirements.

Monitor delivery progress and prepare clear reports for stakeholders.

Manage organisational and technological changes in line with established processes.

Promote a strong delivery culture and ensure predictable project execution.

Requirements

Extensive experience in independently managing large and complex IT or technology projects.

Proven track record of delivering projects throughout their full lifecycle.

Strong knowledge of project governance, planning and risk management.

Experience in managing stakeholders at different organisational levels.

Practical experience in managing project budgets and resources.

Ability to identify issues and proactively escalate risks.

Proficiency in project management tools.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong presentation skills.

Ability to analyse complex information and present clear conclusions and recommendations.

Very good command of English, enabling effective work in an international environment.

Nice to have

Experience in application management and application lifecycle management.

Knowledge of BMC Helix.

Experience with UAT, QA or software testing, including preparing test scenarios.

Previous experience in the banking or financial sector.

Understanding of Information Security risks in regulated organisations.

Experience in identifying and remediating application vulnerabilities.

Experience working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models.

Knowledge of SAFe.

Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or AgilePM.
