Senior Data Engineer

Your responsibilities:

Scope / (Content Leadership): Leads the design and construction of large-scale data architectures. Oversees and mentors junior engineers while driving technical excellence and setting standards across the team.

Accountability/Problem Solving: Solves highly complex data engineering problems and troubleshoots intricate performance issues. Ensures that critical data infrastructure and systems remain highly scalable, secure, resilient, and efficient.

Stakeholder Management: Liaises with senior leadership to align on data strategy and organizational needs. Guides and directs various technical teams and effectively influences the team's architectural decisions.

Impact/Strategy: Leads high-impact projects that significantly shape the organization's data infrastructure. Develops long-term strategies for data architecture and contributes significantly to data governance initiatives.

Complexity / (Product Size): Manages enterprise-level data systems and infrastructure. Designs and implements advanced data processing frameworks, scalable data warehouses, and data lakes.

Business / Technical ability: Acts as an expert in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies. Demonstrates a deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud data platforms, advanced ETL/ELT patterns, and data architecture best practices.

We are looking for you, if you have:

Extensive experience leading the design, implementation, and construction of complex data engineering solutions and large-scale data architectures

Proven track record of leading high-impact projects that shape enterprise-level data infrastructure and developing long-term data architecture strategies.

Demonstrated experience contributing significantly to data governance and ensuring the resilience and security of critical data infrastructure.

Technical Skills

Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies.

Deep expertise in distributed data systems, cloud data platforms, and advanced ETL/ELT patterns.

Proven capability to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes, and to troubleshoot intricate system performance issues.
