SAP / IT Finance Software Engineer (ABAP)

Poznań, PolandWe are looking for a software engineer to help design, build, and evolve business-critical applications supporting John Deere's global Finance organization. This role is especially relevant for people with experience in SAP ABAP development, enterprise applications, integrations, business process automation, or SAP Finance platforms. You will work closely with Product Managers, IT Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver capabilities that improve operational efficiency, data quality, and financial processes at global scale. Your responsibilities:

Build and enhance applications supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reporting, and enterprise integrations. Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP-based enhancements, interfaces, automations, reports, and technical components. Partner with Product Managers, IT Analysts, Architects, and business teams to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable technology solutions. Contribute to modernization initiatives involving S/4HANA, SAP BTP, cloud integrations, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. Our requirements:

Hands-on experience developing and supporting applications using SAP ABAP. Ability to understand business requirements and transform them into technical designs and implementations. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional and international teams. Nice to have:

Understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, reporting, or other financial processes. Exposure to S/4HANA, CDS Views, OData, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, APIs, IDocs, RFCs, or Integration Suite. Experience working in Agile product teams alongside analysts, architects, and business stakeholders. Experience with automation, DevOps practices, application lifecycle management, mentoring, or technical leadership.
