Quality Controller - Incoming inspection

Ferrosan Medical Devices s. z.o.o. is a Polish-Danish company. Our headquarters are located in Szczecin, at Koksowa Street 3 (from Tama Pomorzańska Street). The company manufactures innovative medical devices – wireless breast biopsy devices and hemostatic materials in several forms and versions.

The Quality Controller (Incoming Inspection)

is responsible for ensuring that incoming materials and components meet specified quality requirements. The role supports product conformity, supplier quality performance, and continuous improvement through effective inspection, analysis, and problem-solving activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming inspections using appropriate measurement techniques and inspection methods

• Interpret technical drawings, including GD& T, in accordance with ISO 1101 requirements

• Operate and maintain measuring equipment to ensure accurate and reliable inspection results

• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles to monitor and evaluate product quality

• Conduct structured root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for identified nonconformities

• Identify, document, and escalate quality issues in a timely manner

• Support supplier quality management processes:

• Handle incoming quality complaints

• Participate in supplier investigations and follow-up actions

• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions

• Troubleshoot quality issues related to incoming materials and components

• Initiate and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Quality Control processes

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including:

• ISO 2859-1 (sampling inspection)

• Basic principles of ISO 13485
