QA Engineer

End-to-End QA Engineer – Smart Energy SystemsOn behalf of our client, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to drive end-to-end validation for an intelligent residential energy optimization platform. The system aggregates real-time data from diverse physical hardware—such as heat pumps, solar power setups, and smart meters—coordinating device behavior to maximize home energy efficiency.

In this role, you will work directly with physical equipment to validate data pipelines and verify seamless communication across all hardware and cloud layers.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute end-to-end test suites covering complex system interactions across integrated hardware.

Validate data flow, communication protocols, and REST API integrations between physical devices and backend microservices.

Diagnose, analyze, and document integration defects spanning software, network, and hardware layers.

Assemble, configure, and maintain benchtop test environments using actual physical hardware.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams to elevate overall system stability.

Requirements

Proven track record in E2E, system, and integration testing (experience with IoT or embedded software environments is highly valued).

Solid understanding of RES

Tful APIs and modern data transmission verification.

Comfortable working directly with physical equipment and bench setups.

Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to isolate multi-component system failures.

Good command of written and spoken English (B2/C1) for daily technical collaboration.

Work Model & Project Details

Location: Wrocław — initial 3 months fully onsite for hardware onboarding, transitioning to a hybrid schedule (up to 3 days remote per week).

Start Date: ASAP.

Contract Length: Long-term engagement.
