Python Developer | Wroclaw

📌 We’re looking for an experienced Python Developer to join a fast-paced, high-impact project in the financial / payments domain.

The Python Developer will design, build, and support core backend and data-processing capabilities for the Portfolio Management Tool (PMT). The role covers Flask-based API development, PostgreSQL-backed business logic, and ETL pipelines supporting portfolio modelling, trade workflows, market data ingestion, and operational reporting.

📍 Work model: Hybrid — 4 days per week from the Wroclaw office, with some flexibility to reduce this to 3 days per week

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Python development experience in enterprise or business-critical applications
• Hands-on experience with Flask or a similar Python REST API framework
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including debugging and query performance tuning
• Experience with ETL, batch processing, or workflow orchestration tools
• Experience using Pandas and NumPy libraries
• Understanding of layered application design, including service, repository, and DAO-style patterns
• Experience writing unit and integration tests for backend systems
• Familiarity with containerized runtime environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to investigate incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement durable fixes
