We are looking for a Production Analyst to help maintain and improve our production systems and operational processes. In this role, you will take ownership of monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting critical production environments while working closely with engineering, support, and product teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring system stability, investigating production issues, supporting software releases, and driving continuous improvements across our video analytics platform. This position is ideal for someone with experience in technical support, production operations, or software systems who is ready to take on greater responsibility and contribute to the reliability and scalability of our services.

Responsibilities

Monitor production systems, analyze performance trends, and proactively identify potential issues.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, collaborating with engineering teams when necessary.

Manage and maintain production software deployments and configuration updates.

Perform root cause analysis for production issues and document findings and corrective actions.

Work within Jira to manage incidents, service requests, problem investigations, and operational tasks.

Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Support and maintain Video Analytics systems, including configuration, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

Execute and coordinate Production Acceptance (PA) testing before and after software releases.

Analyze application, system, and database logs to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and operational risks.

Participate in production change management processes, ensuring changes are properly tested, documented, and deployed.

Contribute to system monitoring improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency projects.

Collaborate with support, development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve overall service reliability.

Assist in mentoring junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and server environments.

Practical experience with SQL, including writing queries, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

Experience supporting production applications or enterprise software environments.

Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.

Understanding of application lifecycle, software deployments, and production support processes.

Familiarity with monitoring tools, alerting systems, and log analysis techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Linux operating systems.

Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Zabbix, CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc.).

Familiarity with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewall troubleshooting.

Experience supporting cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).

Knowledge of release management, change management, or ITIL processes.

Experience with video analytics, computer vision, or large-scale distributed systems.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
