Product Development Manager

Your responsibilities

Our requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D, product development, or engineering, including at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Proven experience in the leading product development projects, preferably of lighting products.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical construction, electronic components, lighting technologies.
• Experience with international safety and performance standards applicable to lighting products (e.g., CE, UL, EN).
• Experience managing the full product lifecycle management (PLM), from concept and feasibility studies through prototyping, testing, industrialization, and product launch.
• Ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage multiple development project simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers, customers, and external development partners.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional German language is an asset.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
