We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role: Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

- Close cooperation with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing in line with local regulations and company policies

- Verification of payroll input data and payroll results to ensure correctness and compliance

- Monitoring data flows between HR systems and payroll vendors; identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and escalating risks that may impact payroll quality or timelines

- Coordination of annual tax settlements for local employees

- Preparation of regular and ad hoc payroll reports; support for payroll audits and annual reporting by providing documentation and explanations

- Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll, working time, and benefits; issuing payroll certificates and confirmations

- Supporting HR-related processes in line with local legal requirements and maintaining up-to-date HR systems

- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and proposing enhancements to payroll and HR procedures

Requirements:

- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Economics, HR, or a related field

- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll or finance; experience with payroll systems is a strong advantage

- Very good command of English, both written and spoken

- High level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with MS Excel and MS Office

- Problem-solving mindset, strong sense of responsibility, and a collaborative approach when working with employees

- Willingness to learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic, international environment

- Availability to work full-time on-site

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, under time pressure and tight deadlines

- Knowledge of Polish labour law and basic HR administration processes, or willingness to develop in the HR/payroll area
