We are looking for an experienced Datacenter Network Architect with over 10 years of expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive network architectures. The ideal candidate will excel in creating robust, future-proof solutions that support cloud-connected datacenter operations, ensuring high performance and security.
Main Responsibilities
Core duty description:
- Design and document a cloud-connected datacenter networking architecture.
- Provide an approved target architecture and a three-year roadmap.
- Conduct current-state assessments including inventory and performance analysis.
- Define security policies aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Design for high availability and disaster recovery scenarios.
- Evaluate technology solutions for network architecture.
- Ensure interoperability between key systems and integration points.
Key Requirements
- Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Experience with Cisco ACI
- Experience with VMware, Oracle, and SAN networking.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, and MPLS.
- Expertise in Azure cloud and hybrid implementations.
- Familiarity with micro-segmentation and secure network design.
- Strong professional IT experience in datacenter environments.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Dutch or French.
- Experience with AI workloads and GPU fabrics.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
