About the project

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
• Support, maintain and enhance enterprise-scale Data Warehouse environments
• Develop and maintain solutions based on SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java and Shell Scripting
• Drive ETL architecture improvements and batch processing optimization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents in production environments
• Support change, release and deployment activities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure solution quality through testing, validation and regression testing activities
• Contribute to data modeling and Data Warehouse architecture design

Our requirements

• Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL
• Practical experience with Python, Java and Shell Scripting
• Solid understanding of ETL design principles, batch processing and Data Warehouse architecture
• Experience with data modeling and modeling tools such as PowerDesigner
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as JIRA and Kanban
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and regression testing
• Experience working in enterprise-scale production DWH environments
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong English language skills
• German language at B2 level (or higher)

Optional

• Experience in regulated financial environments (e.g. BAIT, MaRisk)
• Experience with change and release management processes
• Knowledge of automotive, banking or leasing domains
