Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications and services.
• Implement new features based on business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing solutions.
• Work with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
• Ensure software quality, security, performance, and reliability.
• Support releases and production systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams in an Agile environment.

Our requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot or similar frameworks such as Quarkus or Jakarta EE.
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extensive knowledge of Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Practical experience with Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink.
• Knowledge of design patterns, CI/CD, and security.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• German at B2 level and English at C1 level.
• Proven senior-level experience with relevant recent project experience.
• Availability to start on short notice.

Optional

• Experience with Big Data and large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Experience with OpenShift and Azure/cloud technologies.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
