Senior Digital Project Manager – Chemical Industry Transformation

Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to drive large-scale web transformation and enterprise platform initiatives for a leading US-based client in the global chemical sector. In this role, you will take ownership of complex digital implementations, platform migrations, CMS rollouts, and e-commerce system integrations across multiple international markets.

Because the client is headquarterd in the United States, this role requires flexibility to accommodate regular afternoon working hours for overlap with US stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Drive complex digital platform deployments, web migrations, and enterprise system integrations from strategic planning to final delivery.

Build and manage detailed delivery roadmaps, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and governance frameworks.

Serve as the central bridge between international business functions (Product, Sales, Marketing) and technical engineering teams.

Monitor multi-project health, budgets, and dependencies, proactively mitigating delivery blockers early.

Deliver transparent progress reporting, status dashboards, and financial tracking to executive leadership.

Facilitate smooth collaboration across globally distributed cross-functional teams, managing timeline overlaps with US counterparts.

Requirements7+ years of experience leading complex IT, software, or digital transformation projects in global environments.

Proven track record in launching customer-facing digital platforms, e-commerce solutions, and enterprise CMS migrations.

Solid practical understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe background is a strong advantage).

Proficiency with modern project management tooling, particularly Azure DevOps.

Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills in fluent English (C1+).

Ability to work independently within matrixed international structures.

Readiness to adjust working hours for regular afternoon US time-zone overlap.

Nice to HaveActive integration of modern AI tools into day-to-day project management workflows.

Prior experience in the chemical, B2B manufacturing, or industrial transformation domains.

Engagement Details

Form of Cooperation: B2B Freelance Contract

Duration: Until December 31, 2026 (high probability of long-term extension)

Rate: 120 – 150 PLN / hour net + VAT

Location: 100% Remote (Poland-based)
