For our client, an international manufacturing company in the FMCG industry, we are currently recruiting for the position of Health Safety and Environment Manager (F/M) Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, corporate policies, and internal standards.
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve HSE management systems, programs, and processes.
Conduct safety audits and identify non-conformities while ensuring corrective actions are completed.
Develop and maintain local safety policies and procedures in line with legal and corporate requirements.
Lead emergency preparedness, first aid organization, and safety committees.
Support engineering projects and change management initiatives from a HSE perspective.
Identify workplace and ergonomic risks and implement preventive measures.
Coordinate and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (or equivalent) management systems.
Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
Promote a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagement.
Increase awareness and understanding of Safety, Health & Environment standards across the organization.
Monitor HSE performance and report progress against KPIs.
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
Ensure timely implementation and completion of corrective and preventive actions.
Drive continuous improvement of HSE KPIs, including safety, environmental, and sustainability performance.
Manage the annual HSE budget and capital expenditure plans.
Coordinate activities related to pollution prevention, waste management, recycling, environmental protection, and energy efficiency.
Participate in operational meetings, provide practical HSE solutions, and share best practices.
Maintain accurate HSE reporting, documentation, and performance tracking systems. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Professional qualification in Health, Safety & Environment.
Auditor qualification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (or equivalent) standards.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in HSE management systems and compliance auditing.
Experience leading change management initiatives within manufacturing operations.
Understanding of budgeting and financial processes.
Fluent in the Polish language and able to communicate effectively in English.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
