Our client is changing that paradigm from inception. They are building the next-generation e-commerce accelerator powered by Agentic AI - where experienced humans focus only on talking to brands and strategic decision-making, while autonomous AI agents handle repetitive execution and analytics.

Founded by serial entrepreneurs with a proven track record of scaling and exiting multi-million e-commerce businesses, the company is fully self-funded, highly profitable, and free from quarterly board politics or runway theater.

We are looking for the Founding Technology Hire & CTO to build this vision alongside the founders. This is a hands-on builder role: you are the technology, data, and AI function.🎯 What You Will Own

The Agentic Core: Architect and deploy the AI infrastructure running the entire operation - listing creation/optimization, catalog ingestion, buy box monitoring, dynamic pricing, and supply chain signals.

The Data Spine: Build clean, real-time data pipelines integrating marketplace APIs (Amazon SP-API), logistics, and finance. Calculate live cost-to-serve down to the SKU level.

Multi-Channel Scalability: Design a modular architecture starting with Amazon, expandable to TikTok Shop, D2C (Shopify), and European marketplaces without requiring a rebuild.

Build vs. Buy Decisions: Exercise sharp commercial judgment to select the right frameworks, LLM models, and vendors, knowing exactly when to build and when to integrate.🛠️ What You Bring

Production Agentic AI Experience: You have shipped and operated agentic or LLM-based systems in real operational environments. You know their breaking points, running costs, and where human-in-the-loop is required.

Marketplace & E-commerce Depth: Hands-on experience with Amazon SP-API, Ads data, buy-box dynamics, and inventory management.

Data-Centric Engineering: Proficiency in data warehousing, pipelines, and commerce data models covering products, orders, fees, and margins.

Hands-on Builder Mindset: Strong active coding ability in backend, data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud architecture. You still write code and love doing it.
