The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization and acts as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure financial stability, optimize profitability, and develop scalable financial structures that support the company’s growth within the automotive sector.🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure (including debt financing, leasing, credit facilities)
Support business growth initiatives (e.g. network expansion)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Reporting & Financial Control
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (local GAAP / IFRS if applicable)
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Monitor cost control and profitability across business lines
- Prepare financial reports for the Board and HQ
- Team Management
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Standardize and optimize financial and accounting processes
- Lead ERP implementations and digital finance transformation initiatives
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Manage financial and operational risks
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external institutions🚘 Automotive Industry Specific Scope
- The CFO is expected to have strong understanding of:
Vehicle inventory financing (e.g. floor plan financing)OEM/importer settlements and dealer bonus structures
Profitability drivers across revenue streams (new cars, used cars, service, parts)
Working capital management in a high-inventory environment
- Fleet financing and leasing structures
