Project description: The project focuses on migrating financial calculation workflows from the legacy Data

Synapse platform to an in-house solution built with modern cloud-native technologies, including Docker, Python, C++, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Kyvos, and Azure.

Location: Kraków / Hybrid/ Remote from Poland

Your daily work will include:

Designing and implementing new features in modern DevOps systems

  • Debugging and resolving complex issues across distributed systems
  • Participating in architectural discussions and influencing technical decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (backend, DevOps, QA)

Writing clean, testable, and high-performance code

Contributing to code reviews and engineering best practices

Team & Collaboration3 (Montrose) + 3 on the client’s side, including developers (4) and QAs (2)

Regular meetings:daily standupsbiweekly sprint planning biweekly retrospectivebiweekly developer catchup call4 short biweekly backlog refinement sessions

Communication via email and Webex chat

Working hours: usually 12:00–20:00 CET Qualifications:

Strong understanding of Docker and containerization concepts, with hands-on experience

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.

Proficiency with GitHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

  • Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts using Bash, Powershell and/or PythonGood understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and practices
  • Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
  • Nice to have:

Python coding skills

Technical phone screening (~30 minutes)

Technical interview (~2 hours)

Non-technical call with hiring manager (~45 minutes)
