Responsibilities:

Algorithm Development: Create robust algorithms to extract disease-relevant features from diverse sensor data (touchscreen, accelerometer, audio, text) collected during remote testing.

Psychometric Analyses: Evaluate feature reliability, group differentiation (such as disease stages), collinearity, and correlation with traditional clinical assessments.

Vendor Management: Validate third-party data completeness and perform comparative analyses between external and in-house remote testing datasets.

Scientific Communication: Present findings internally and contribute to scientific abstracts and manuscripts for global conferences.

Requirements:

Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, MatPlotLib) and development workflows (Jupyter notebooks, virtual environments).

Strong coding practices focused on robustness and reproducibility, including git, unit testing, peer code reviews, and agile methodologies.

Solid understanding of group comparisons, correlation analysis, and linear mixed models.

Ability to deal with real-world data, investigate the reasons for missing or erroneous values, and connect with other teams to resolve issues.

Familiarity with distributed, high-performance computing environments, ETL workflows, and the Unix command line.

Excellent English skills and the ability to thrive within a hybrid, dynamic team environment.

Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: time series analysis, signal processing, image processing, natural language processing.
