Cyber Azure Cloud Architect (m/f/n)

Currently, for one of our international Partners within the public sector, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Azure Cloud Architect (m/f/n) to design, secure, and support Microsoft Azure cloud-based infrastructures and services in a complex, large-scale environment.

Requirements:

At least 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or in a similar role.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud security.

European Union citizenship (EU-27) and eligibility for EU security clearance.

At least one recognized cybersecurity or cloud security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate / Cybersecurity Architect Expert).

Solid understanding of network security, identity management (IAM/RBAC), encryption, logging, and monitoring.

Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.

Fluent English (working language).

Nice to have:

Experience working in regulated, high-security, or public sector environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain secure cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.

Define and implement cloud security controls aligned with best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.

Translate business, security, and compliance requirements into secure technical architectures.

Support DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD security controls and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Contribute to Identity and Access Management designs (IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust).

Perform security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling.

Support incident analysis, remediation strategies, and continuous security improvement.

Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams in an international environment.

Produce clear architectural documentation, security designs, and guidelines.
