CAD Design Engineer (Extrusion Tooling)

We are expanding the competence center for our German client, a global leader in polymer-based solutions, to strengthen their extrusion tooling development capacity. The project focuses on designing and optimizing advanced extrusion dies and related tooling for manufacturing.

Work Mode: Fully Remote – provided the required technical setup is available.

Project duration: 3 months +Job Responsibilities

Collaboration with engineering teams to design and develop extrusion tools (dies/matrices),Creation of manufacturing-ready 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs, Optimization of existing extrusion tooling to improve performance and production efficiency, Ensuring high-quality documentation and structured design workflows, Independent execution of assigned tasks with a structured and reliable working approach.

Expectations

Strong experience with SolidWorks, Proven background in design and development of extrusion tools, Ability to create manufacturing-ready 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs, Experience in extrusion tooling optimization, An independent and structured way of working, Professional communication skills (English) and ability to collaborate with international teams.
