Automation Tester (sport)

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a long-term project for a global leader in international sports event management. Take a hands-on role in developing automated test suites for web applications and APIs using modern frameworks and AI-assisted workflows.

Our expectations

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation.

Solid knowledge of JavaScript.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium (including Playwright + Cucumber for BDD).

Strong understanding of HTTP services and API testing.

Experience working with Jira along with test management plugins (Zephyr / Xray).

Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to optimize daily QA workflows and code generation.

Strong communication skills in English (minimum B2 Level)

Availability to work in the CEST time zone (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key tasks

Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs.

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

Analyze test results and actively support defect resolution.

Maintain comprehensive test scenarios, execution plans, and QA documentation.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional development and product teams.

Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation best practices.
