Accountant with French

Our client, a leading international financial institution, is looking for a Accountant with French to join its growing investment funds operations team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise within fund accounting while working in a dynamic, international environment supporting a diverse portfolio of investment structures and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare end-to-end monthly/quarterly activities including cash bookkeeping and reconciliation, valuations on various type of assets, bookkeep in the Accounting system drawdowns, distributions, perform accruals calculation, Performing activities related to NAV calculation, Prepare and review accounting reporting, Investigating discrepancies including direct location contact

Ensure all tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with local and global procedures, Manage client/ location queries and provide a high level of customer service to our external clients and business lines.

Provide input in relation to the review and monitoring of existing business process, procedures and checklists to maximize efficiency and productivity in the Private Capital Team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in fund accounting, accounting, finance, audit or financial services
• Very good command of English and French
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial instruments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
