Core Technology Change & Delivery is seeking an experienced Lead Project Leader to support the execution of Nordea’s operational stability and resilience transformation. Functionally reporting to the appointed Programme Manager, you will lead selected projects and initiatives within the programme while also providing structured programme management support. Core Technology Change & Delivery is responsible for project and programme management, execution and governance of technology change initiatives. We work across business and technology teams to ensure that strategic commitments are delivered predictably, transparently and in line with the Core Technology Operating Model and Nordea Delivery Guide. What you'll be doing Main responsibilities in this role:

Lead selected operational stability and resilience projects and initiatives from planning through execution and implementation, in alignment with priorities set by the Programme Manager.

Support the Programme Manager in maintaining a consolidated view of programme initiatives, including objectives, ownership, milestones, funding, risks, dependencies and expected outcomes.

Translate programme objectives and priorities into clear project plans, milestones, deliverables and measurable success criteria.

Coordinate delivery of assigned initiatives focused on incident prevention, monitoring and observability, problem management, service recovery, automation and application resilience.

Drive alignment and execution across the technology, service management and business teams involved in assigned initiatives.

Support programme governance by preparing decision materials, coordinating reporting cycles and meetings, and following up actions, decisions and escalations.

Produce clear, outcome-based project and programme reporting that provides transparency on progress, risks, dependencies, decisions and expected benefits.

Identify cross-initiative dependencies, gaps and overlaps, and support the Programme Manager in driving prioritisation and resolution across organisational boundaries.

Manage assigned project scope, plans, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.

Maintain programme management artefacts such as integrated plans, RAID and decision logs, action tracking and delivery dashboards. Ensure that root-cause analysis and incident trends are translated into actionable remediation initiatives and measurable stability improvements. Ensure delivery complies with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory, resilience and operational requirements. Proactively identify delivery obstacles, manage escalations and enable timely decisions, working closely with the Programme Manager. You create structure and momentum in a complex environment, work effectively under the direction of an appointed Programme Manager, and take ownership of initiatives from planning through implementation. You communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, coordinate across organisational boundaries and turn programme priorities into practical delivery outcomes.

Your background and skills include: Proven track record of leading complex technology projects and strategic initiatives in large organisations. Experience supporting multi-workstream programmes through integrated planning, governance coordination, reporting, RAID management, action tracking and decision support. Strong experience in operational stability, service reliability, operational resilience or enterprise technology transformation. Experience coordinating delivery across technology, service management and business domains. Strong understanding of incident, problem and change management, monitoring and observability, service recovery and root-cause remediation. Ability to translate programme priorities and operational trends into executable project plans and measurable outcomes. Experience preparing high-quality materials for governance forums, steering committees and senior stakeholders. Experience managing complex dependencies, risks, issues, delivery commitments, budgets and resources. Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across organisational units and technology domains. Experience defining and tracking outcome-based metrics, benefits and performance indicators. Understanding of technology resilience, application reliability, operational readiness, security and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to proactively identify delivery risks, resolve impediments and drive successful outcomes in complex environments. Very good financial and resource management skills. Very good analytical skills and attention to detail. Advanced presentation skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
