co.brick talents — powered by AI, powered by people. Data Transformation Program Manager

Position Details:

Start Date: September 14th (14.09)

Project Duration: Long-termWork Model: Fully remote

Language Requirement: English C1/C2About the Role: We are seeking a senior Engagement Lead to join a multi-engagement data and platform adoption programme for a large multinational client. This programme is dedicated to helping business units successfully onboard onto a shared data platform through a comprehensive lifecycle: initial assessment, scope definition, delivery, operationalisation, and handover.

This is not a generic Customer Success Manager or status-reporting PM role. You will act as a senior delivery leader and an ambassador of the data platform strategy, combining robust delivery leadership with strong data transformation credibility. You will own the end-to-end engagement leadership for one or more concurrent business unit onboarding engagements, holding stakeholders accountable while preserving positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the engagement lifecycle from kickoff to handover, taking accountability for delivery rhythm, stakeholder alignment, and risk control.

Drive alignment between business and technology regarding data platform adoption, operating models, data ownership, stewardship, and data quality.

Validate business unit readiness by ensuring genuine sponsor commitment, SME availability, and source access.

Serve as the primary engagement interface for senior business sponsors, central programme teams, and technology leaders.

Constructively challenge business units and avoid 'fake progress' when readiness, data quality, or scope discipline is weak.

Protect agreed scope boundaries, flag commercial risks early, and translate technical findings from Data Architects and Platform Engineers into business-readable decisions.

Prepare robust evidence for formal client checkpoints and own risk management, decision logs, and escalation flows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:10+ years of experience in IT, data, platform, or digital transformation delivery.5+ years in senior delivery, programme leadership, or engagement leadership roles specifically focused on data transformation initiatives (e.g., data quality remediation, data stewardship operating models, or modern data platform adoption).

Deeply data-literate; capable of discussing operating models, data stewardship, lineage, and integration at a practical delivery level without relying fully on technical specialists.

Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills with the confidence to say 'not ready yet' when evidence is missing.

Experience with structured delivery governance, including steering meetings, risk logs, and escalation paths.

A decisive problem solver who can navigate ambiguity, pressure, and conflicting priorities across multiple concurrent engagements.

Fluent, high-impact English communication skills (C1/C2 level). (Knowledge of Portuguese, French, or Spanish is a plus).
