Salary starting from 18 400 PLN gross/month, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated System Engineer to join our global team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in operating and maintaining our global Content Delivery Network (CDN). This position involves participation in on-call rotations, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and responding promptly to operational issues. Key Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and monitor the global CDN infrastructure. Respond to incidents, diagnose issues promptly, and participate in on-call rotations. Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools. Collaborate closely with network and infrastructure teams for maintenance and enhancements. Manage and contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) repositories using Git. Continuously improve monitoring and alerting systems. Qualifications
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS). Proficient in Git and Bash scripting. Experience in operational on-call duties. Nice to Have: Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack). Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana). Knowledge of databases like ClickHouse or PostgreSQL. Understanding of BGP and related networking protocols. Programming ability in Go, Python, or Rust. Ideal Candidate Traits: Proactive and self-motivated. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
