Tasks:

Create detailed technical documentation of existing complex map solutions / map data systems

Work directly with engineers, architects, and technical leaders to understand how map data is published (including data models, APIs, schemas, publishing pipelines, and semantics)

Identify and reach out to the right subject-matter experts across a large engineering organization when information is not yet documented

• Translate complex software, data, and semantic concepts into clear, structured, and technically accurate documentation
• Review technical specifications, implementation notes, and available engineering materials to extract and organize important system knowledge
• Structure documentation for two audiences: people who need clear technical guidance and AI systems that rely on well-organized, searchable content
• Design and maintain an information architecture and documentation standards that scale as the product and its semantics evolve.

Spot gaps, ambiguities, and inconsistencies in existing specifications and technical content, then work with the relevant teams to resolve them.

Validate documentation for technical accuracy with engineering and product stakeholders before publishing.

Help create documentation that engineers, product teams, suppliers, and AI/LLM-based tools can rely on for consistent technical understanding.

Requirements:

Working experience with digital map / navigation solutions

Experience in software / system analysis and in creating technical documentationsIn-depth technical understanding of software architectures, data models, APIs, schemas, data flows and semantics

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, design documents, configuration details, etc.

Strong interviewing and consulting skills

• The ability to work independently and taking ownership of initiatives
• Fluent in English
• Able to work on B2B in PolandNice to have: software engineering experience; IT-related degree; experience with Java, Azure, AI dev tools
