Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Consultant (SSO & Authentication)

📍 Location: 100% Remote📅 Start: August 2026⏳ Duration: Approximately 1 month (around 20 MD)👥 Engagement: Full-time (1 FTE)

We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Consultant to support an enterprise initiative focused on modernizing authentication and enabling a password-less user experience within a SharePoint-based environment.

The project requires a hands-on consultant who can assess an existing solution, design secure authentication mechanisms, and guide stakeholders through implementation and knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online / SharePoint and Microsoft 365.

Proven track record delivering SSO, identity management, and authentication-related solutions.

Experience with Microsoft identity technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and modern authentication methods.

Ability to analyse existing applications and propose practical improvements.

Experience working in client-facing consulting roles.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership in a short-term engagement.

Responsibilities

Analyse the existing SharePoint-based solution and authentication architecture.

Design and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and modern authentication improvements.

Support authentication scenarios for both internal and external users.

Assess security requirements and recommend enhancements aligned with modern Microsoft 365 practices.

Provide technical consulting and architectural guidance related to SharePoint and Microsoft 365.

Prepare implementation documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Assist with solution handover and provide post-implementation recommendations.
