What you´ll do
- Identify potential acquisition opportunities that align with the Portfolio / M& A Strategy of Henkel Consumer Brands
- Prepare deep dives, investment thesis, and recommendations to senior management to decide on M& A opportunities
- Manage and coordinate due diligence activities which entails collaborating with relevant business and corporate functions across Henkel
- Prepare business plans and detailed financial analysis as well as all necessary committee or board approval documents for divestments, preparation of transaction scope, structure, carve-out financials, and other deal documents such as Information Memorandum
- Negotiate key terms of transactions together with Corporate M& A and legal teams
- Ensure that an integration plan is designed and smooth hand-over to dedicated PMI lead
- Conduct strategic analysis, industry research, and competitor analysis to help evaluate potential M& A opportunities
- Act as sparring partner for regions & category management on M& A matters
What makes you a good fit
- Master's degree in business administration or similar
- Ideally 5 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of successfully executing M& A transactions
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Holistic perspective & ability to manage a transaction from end-to-end (from initial / desktop analysis, through evaluation and internal presentation to external negotiation)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels and outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English language skills
