Senior Java Developer

Location: Kraków (8 days per month in the office)

Start Date: ASAP / within 1 monthRate: Up to 160 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)

Responsibilities

Support and modernize legacy Java applications using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).

Participate in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Delivery activities.

Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

Analyze requirements and propose effective technical solutions.

Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities.

Support CI/CD automation and application lifecycle management.

Requirements5+ years of experience with Java development and support.

Strong knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, and CI/CD practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with GCP, Spring Cloud, Angular, or Redis.

Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions.
