Your responsibilities

• Summary:
• Odyssey is looking for a highly motivated team player with a passion for cloud solutions. A senior cloud engineer will design and maintain secure, scalable solutions across M365 and Azure, and Amazon Web Services. The role combines architecture, delivery automation, security, and implementation support.
• Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions.
• Implement security practices and manage access controls in M365/Azure and AWS.
• Document all processes and systems for future reference and updates.
• Assist in other functions as directed by Management.
• Work with DevOps & Business to understand their requirements and architect suitable solutions.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless and efficient software delivery.
• Manage and maintain GitHub repositories, ensuring best practices for version control and collaboration.
• Keep up to date on technological innovation within AWS and other cloud services.
• Ensure solutions are maintained for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Oversee information systems security safeguards for all cloud solutions.
• Develop detailed implementation plans for cloud solutions, including establishing key milestones and finalizing budget/scope.
• Assist with executing system validation and preparing the organization for transition.

Our requirements

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT and cloud architecture.
• Proven experience with M365/Azure and AWS platforms.
• Strong understanding of IAM and cloud security practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Optional

• Preferred:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Working knowledge of Databricks, RDS, S3, Faregate, YAML, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Route53, Kubernetes, Cloud Watch.

What we offer

• Location: This is a remote or a hybrid in-office role based in Gdańsk Oliwa, Poland.
• No relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in Poland.
