Project duration: Until April 30, 2027, with possible extension🚀 About the projectWe are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join an international project focused on the continued development of a native Android application.

The role combines native Android development with the implementation and optimization of accessibility features. You will work on making the application more accessible, improving navigation and interaction patterns, and ensuring compatibility with Android accessibility services.

We are looking for someone who has already implemented and tested accessibility solutions in production Android applications and can confidently apply this experience in everyday development work.💡 Who we areKyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode across Poland. We focus on long-term, high-quality engineering and building production-grade systems with real business impact.🧠 Your responsibilitiesdevelop and maintain a native Android application using Kotlinimplement and optimize accessibility features using Android Accessibility APIs and Compose Semanticsensure compatibility with TalkBack and other Android accessibility servicesimplement accessible UI components with appropriate content descriptions, roles, and statesimprove accessibility focus management and navigation across application screensensure support for scalable text, appropriate touch targets, and accessible navigationperform hands-on accessibility testing, particularly using Talk

• Backidentify, troubleshoot, and resolve accessibility-related issuescollaborate with the development team to improve application usability and accessibilityapply relevant accessibility standards and best practices, including WCAG 2.1/2.2🧩 Must havesminimum 5 years of professional experience in native Android developmentstrong practical experience with Kotlincommercial experience with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Viewsextensive hands-on experience implementing accessibility features in production Android applicationsstrong practical knowledge of Talk
• Backexperience with Android Accessibility APIs and/or Compose Semanticspractical knowledge of content descriptions, roles, states, and accessibility focus managementexperience implementing scalable text, accessible touch targets, and accessible navigationexperience with accessibility testing, particularly using Talk
